Tracking and cookies

The short version: no analytics, no ads, no tracking. We keep what’s needed to run your account, your tickets and your games, and nothing else.

TTRPG.Events sets one kind of cookie: your sign-in session. It keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and it’s removed when you log out. Without it, the dashboard can’t work.

There are no analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. That’s why there’s no cookie banner to click through.

Two small preferences, kept only on your device:

  • Docs theme: whether you chose light or dark mode on these docs pages.
  • Check-in desk: whether an organizer has the desk maximized. Forgotten when the tab is closed.

Neither is sent to us.

Messages sent through the contact form are emailed to us. They aren’t stored on the platform.

  • You see everything about your own account, tickets and sign-ups.
  • Organizers of an event you attend see your name, email, tickets, check-ins and session sign-ups, plus your profile and preferences. In exports, your email is hidden unless you agreed to hear from that group.
  • Game masters see your name, profile, preferences and notes for their own sessions. They only see your email if you agreed to be contacted.
  • Other participants never see that you signed up. Public session pages show how many seats are taken, not who took them.
  • The public sees game masters’ names, pictures and bios on the sessions they host.
  • Change your communication choices any time in Preferences. See Set up your profile.
  • Edit your profile any time. Only your name is required.
  • See, correct or delete your data: write to us through the contact form. You can’t delete your account yourself yet. When an account is deleted, the people it manages are deleted with it.
