Propose a session

When an event wants game masters, it opens a call for sessions. You answer it with a proposal, and the organizer decides whether it goes on the programme.

  • From a link. Organizers usually share the call page. It shows what they’re looking for, the deadline and the event details.
  • From your dashboard. Hosting lists the open calls of the groups you belong to.

To submit, you must be signed in and a member of the group. The call page walks you through it: Log In to Submit a Proposal, then Join group name to Submit.

  1. On the call page, select Submit a Proposal.
  2. Fill in your session:
    • Session title — for example, “Curse of Strahd — One Shot”.
    • Description — one or two sentences: the hook players see on the schedule.
    • Cover image — optional.
    • Session type, if the call asks for one.
    • Minimum and maximum players. Leave the maximum blank for a drop-in session with no signup.
    • Game system, genre and experience level.
    • Content warnings and materials needed.
    • Additional Information — the full write-up: the scenario, how the session runs, what players should know beforehand.
    • Any extra questions the organizer added to the call.
  3. Read the consent line: submitting lets the organizers contact you about your proposal.
  4. Select Submit Proposal.

Your proposal shows as Pending Review under Hosting. You can send more than one proposal to the same call.

The organizer reviews it and you get an email with their decision:
