Change or cancel a session
Only organizers, admins and owners can cancel, reactivate or delete a session. The session’s host can’t.
Reschedule
Section titled “Reschedule”Move the session in the schedule builder, or change its times on the session page.
- If the new day isn’t covered by a participant’s ticket, they lose their seat. The waitlist fills it.
- If you remove its time, everyone enrolled loses their seat.
Participants who lose a seat this way aren’t emailed. Tell them yourself.
Make it drop-in
Section titled “Make it drop-in”Clear Max Participants and save. You’re asked to confirm first.
Everyone enrolled or waitlisted is withdrawn and emailed that the session is still on, with no signup needed. Sessions that have already ended keep their enrollments.
Cancel
Section titled “Cancel”- Open the session and go to the Danger Zone.
- Select Cancel Session.
- Add a Reason if you like. It’s included in the email.
- Select Cancel session & notify.
Everyone enrolled or waitlisted is withdrawn and emailed, and so is the host. It can’t be undone: reactivating later doesn’t bring participants back.
Reactivate
Section titled “Reactivate”Bring a cancelled session back to reuse it: same title, time, table and host.
- In the Danger Zone, select Reactivate Session.
- Select Reactivate as draft.
It comes back as a Draft. Nobody is re-enrolled or notified. If its table has been taken in the meantime, move it first.
Delete
Section titled “Delete”Delete Session removes the session and everything about it, for good. Nobody is notified.
You can’t delete a session while people are enrolled or waitlisted. Cancel it instead.
