Wrap up the event

Mark it completed

The event doesn’t close on its own. Once it’s over:

1. Open the event and select Edit event.
2. Set Status to Completed.
3. Select Update Event.

What changes

• The event page shows This event has ended. No tickets are on sale.
• The event moves to past on your organization page and on attendees’ dashboards.
• Holders can no longer give up their tickets.
• Nobody can sign up for or cancel sessions that have ended.

Late changes

You can still cancel a ticket after the event, for example when a chargeback comes in. Record it in the Reason. Cancelling doesn’t refund: handle any refund in your Stripe dashboard.
