Ticket types

A ticket type is one thing you sell: “Weekend pass”, “Saturday”, “Kids under 12”. Every event needs at least one.

  1. Open the event and select Edit event.
  2. Go to Pricing Configuration.
  3. Pick the Currency. One per event; it applies to paid types only.
  4. Fill in a row for each type:
    • Ticket Name: what buyers see.
    • Price: 0 for a free ticket.
    • Description: optional, shown under the name.
    • Max per Transaction: how many one buyer can get at once. Blank allows up to 10.
    • Total Available: a cap for this type. Blank for no cap.
    • Sales Status: see below.
  5. Select + Add Ticket Type for another row, or Remove to delete one.
  6. Select Update Event.

Removed (hidden)Nothing. The type disappears from your public pages.

A hidden type can still be issued by hand. Use it for tickets you only give out yourself, like crew or guests of honour.

Mix them freely. A buyer can take free and paid tickets in one checkout. If you add a paid type before connecting Stripe, you’ll see a warning: connect Stripe before you open sales.
