Organization roles

Each person has one role per organization. They can hold different roles in different organizations.

The rules for managing people

• You can only change or remove someone below your own role.
• You can only give roles below your own. Owners can make admins; admins can make organizers and members.
• Nobody can change their own role or remove themselves.
• An organization always keeps at least one owner.

Session hosts

Hosting isn’t an organization role. Any participant can host, and a host can be a member or not.

A session’s host can:

• edit their session’s game details: system, genre, experience level, content warnings, materials, cover image and Additional Information,
• see their session’s roster, and the contact details of players who agreed to be contacted.

A host can’t change the session’s title, description, time, table, seats or status, and can’t cancel or delete it. See Manage your session.

Participants

Anyone with an account can:

• get tickets, transfer them and give them up,
• sign up for sessions and cancel,
• propose sessions to a call, after joining the organization,
• hold tickets for people without an account, on ticket types that allow it.

Everyone else

Visitors without an account can browse organizations, events, schedules and session pages. Draft and cancelled events are hidden from them.
