The Sanatorium

A storm is gathering over North Island, a bleak and isolated place off the coast of Massachusetts.

The investigators have been asked to travel there and visit Dr. Brewer’s private sanatorium, a small institution housing patients too troubled, too wealthy, or too inconvenient to be treated elsewhere. Reaching the island is difficult enough. Leaving it may prove considerably harder.

The Sanatorium is a classic Call of Cthulhu scenario focused on investigation, atmosphere, paranoia, and escalating horror. Expect a confined setting, strange behaviour, difficult choices, and a situation that can deteriorate very quickly once events begin to move.

No previous knowledge of Call of Cthulhu or the Cthulhu Mythos is required. Characters will be provided.

The game will be run with an emphasis on mystery, atmosphere, and character interaction, rather than combat. Curiosity is strongly encouraged. Sensible survival instincts are also recommended.
