About this session
Larping can be an emotional extreme sport.
First there's the concept of "playing to lose" where one places their character in a bad situation for the sweet drama and conflict that comes from it. Then there's the next evolution "playing to suffer", seeing how far down you can take your character- relishing in their defeat. We call this type-2-fun. Ideally a low risk, high reward endeavor.
From ritual sacrifices to emotional trainwrecks, join us, as we take you through some stories of how we have made our characters suffer for our amusement, and all the safety and consent mechanics that have accompanied it, for said suffering to not bleed into real life... and the times this failed.
