Aces over the Adriatic - Group SOLO Journaling

Aces over the Adriatic is a solo journaling game set in the interwar period in the Adriatic sea. This is the exact setting of Porco Rosso. Players are pilots in the region trying to understand their place in the world.

(if you have not seen Porco Rosso, do that. Even if you don't sign up for the session, it is just a fabulous movie by Studio Ghibli)

Note this is a solo journaling game. So this will be very different experience from a group DM led game. I want to share solo gaming as well as journaling gaming with others. This is likely to be a quiet more contemplative session. AoA is about memory, nostalgia and figuring out your place in the world.

The game is set up to produce "episodes". My plan is to show how the game system works, the dice mechanics, and character creation. Then to give players a set amount of time to do an episode, then we can share what we've written. Collaboration between characters is great, but not required.

I will have character sheets and copies of a few of the relevant tables. I will bring writing paper and some pens, but anything you are able to bring yourself is appreciated.
