Sleeping Place of the Feathered Swine

Sleeping Place of the Feathered Swine is a dungeon-crawl about harvesting valuable cysts from a sleeping creature, trying not to be killed by the horribly mutated things that already tried that, and helping a wizard who lost all his friends and just wants his spellbook back.

About this session

Shadowdark is a rules light fantasy game. It challenges you more than you character, because clever thinking and cool ideas are more important than what's written on your character sheet. This makes it very beginner friendly.

Shadowdark is also a dangerous and deadly game, so come prepared to see your character perish. Then pick up a new one and continue on. I will bring a lot of premade characters. But if you want to head over to https://shadowdarklings.net/create and make your own, I'm fine with that as well. (And if there are any other Shadowdark games offered at Bircon, I accept characters from those games as well.)

We'll be playing with X-Card and Lines&Veils. These are safety tools that ensure everyone's having a good time in the dungeon. But please take a close look at the Content Notes. Those are things that can't be lined.

Sleeping Place of the Feathered Swine is the right adventure for you if you enjoy getting grossed out a little.

Content warnings

Body Horror and gross body stuff like cysts, festering flesh and parasitic infections.
